OJE railway siding

The project aims to provide the future Container Terminal of OJE with a railway branch connected to the Portuguese National Railway Network, also ensuring, through a complementary and autonomous project, the possibility of reversing rail trains that wish to access the DCL Park of IP, through the sharing of this new infrastructure.

The new OJE branch will serve the future Container Terminal of OJE, allowing the operation of freight trains with a combined useful length of up to 1000m, consisting of three lines:

• Line I - Access track to the Terminal with a total approximate length of 1250 m, of which 500 m correspond to the loading/unloading area;
• Line II - Loading/unloading or maneuvering track with a useful length of 500 m;
• Line III - Connection to the current maneuvering triangle of the DCL Park.
