Steconfer IC AB has been commissioned, together with client Region Stockholm (SL), to design and carry out an elevation of the overhead contact line in Spårväg City between Malmskillnadsbron and Waldemarsudde on Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden.
The goal of the project is:
- to ensure sufficient power measurement for a new train model that operates the route
- to increase the safety of the facility and thereby make the surface accessible to other types of traffic
- to extend the life of the track and reduce the maintenance needs of the overhead contact line system.
The project is a turnkey contract collaboration, in two phases, that begins in Mars 2022.
